AN ATLAS OF ILLUSTRATED SENSATIONS.
Salvatore Ferragamo invited Lashup to create the bottles design for Storia di Seta, the new fragrance collection inspired by the Florentine fashion house's iconic silk creations. The fantastic narratives printed on 90×90 silk foulards have been uncovered in the Maison archives in Milan.
They immediately evoke familiar architecture icon, such as historical cartographies, from which fragments of places have been selected to recreate new emotional geographies.
The four bottles create four places animated by illustrations. The transparency of the glass conveys an unprecedented spatial experience recreating a 3D effect in each flacon, turning the collection into an atlas of sensations.
Lashup was asked to develop guidelines for retail enviroments and temporary display.
