SURREALISM AND EXTRAVAGANCE AT THE HEART OF AQUAZZURA'S TROPICAL TALE

To express Aquazzura’s true essence and bring out the nature of this luxury footwear brand, we delved into the suggestions and imagery of the company's master. A world of tropicalism, colours, luxury and extravagance opened up before our eyes.

For the creation of London’s pop-up store inside Harrods, Lashup was asked to design a display and installation itemthat could enshrine – through its materials and contextual absurdity - all the brand’s distinctive elements.

A huge tropical aviary in the centre of the area. Brand’s iconic elements in and around it. Golden pineapples, colourful parrots. The typical striped pattern becoming adécor. The classic emerald green, an inspiration to tropical nature. Within this surreal system of symbols, footwear finds its place and creates a swirl of colours, materials, and patterns ready to amaze passers-by and take them to cheerful dimension.
